Hi
ResponderEliminarI have been in contact with theperson who maintained the site Tugopolis. He said at one point he could put all his scans and work on Inducks.
If you're interested in indexing Portuguese comics, don't you think it would be great if you can put that work on Inducks?
I greatly admire the work done by the volunteer personnel in Inducks and I actually know several of the indexers there, ditto the GCD of which I’m a member. Unfortunately I lack the time to index more than I already do for my books and articles, plus ad-lib duties such as co-mod of the Platinum Age Comics list.
ResponderEliminarI've researched Portuguese comics for decades, so I have quite complete data on almost *all* series published since the 19th century, including of course the Disney ones since the mid-1930s. The purpose of this blog is to try to stimulate answers to the few remaining mysteries surrounding Portuguese artists and publications, in spite of extensive research. In the case of this mid-1990s Pateta Especial (Goofy Special) absolutely nobody — i.e. National Library, collectors, second-hand sellers and even the magazine’s editors themselves — seems to know more than issue #12 of a first series and later on issues #2 and 3 of a second series. Curiously enough for such recent dates, there are additional unknowns about a couple other Portuguese Disney series from Abril/Controljornal, now Edimpresa. I’ll get to them sooner rather than later, still hoping someone somewhere will be able to provide an explanation.
Hi Leonardo,
ResponderEliminarAll this is volunteer work and I understand you don't have enough time to contribute extensively. I hope you continue to provide us with intersting information on your blog, which I've bookmarked.
Would you allow me to post those covers on Inducks?
Thanks again for your work.
Salut François,
ResponderEliminarOf course you can use my scans on Inducks and thank you for asking permission beforehand. If you need higher res images please get back to me. Sorry for this belated answer.
